Dr. Varda was raised in North Vancouver, having attended Plymouth Elementary and Windsor Secondary. Coming from a family experienced in the dental profession, he set his sights on his career aspiration attending the University of British Columbia on scholarship. Having earned a Bachelor of Sciences (B. Sc.) in Biology, he went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.).
Dr. Varda’s goal is to provide his community with high quality oral health care through a gentle approach, open communication, and the most current dental techniques. He takes patient care very seriously and enjoys all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Varda has been happily married to his wife Claret since 2006. They enjoy living an active, balanced lifestyle with interests including music, sailing, and travel.

Continued Professional Development
Continual professional development is integral to our ability to offer the highest quality dental care. Dr. Robert Varda and his staff constantly upgrade their skills through ongoing education, special courses, conferences and study clubs.
Our team of dental professionals is actively involved in continued professional development. With Dr. Robert Varda, our staff has attended many seminars and courses together including BOTOX therapy and Invisalign orthodontic treatment. In addition, our team has been certified in CPR by St. John’s Ambulance.
Implant Training
Dr. Robert Varda attained his dental implant training at the Pacific Institute under the guidance of Dr. Bobby Birdi, one of North America’s few Certified Dual Specialist in Periodontists and Prosthodontics, as well as the renowned Dr. Ron Zokol. The Pacific Institute is dedicated to provide world-class education through innovation and state-of-the-art techniques in dentistry. The Implant Residency at the Pacific Institute is a year-long program involving didactic, hands-on models, and home study components. This comprehensive program covered the treatment planning, surgical, and restorative phases of dental implant treatment.

Dr. Varda is an on-call dentist through the Emergency Room Department of Lions Gate Hospital. In instances of dental emergencies, Dr. Varda can be contacted for advice and treatment.
